I was lucky enough to see Ralph Towner when he just released Distant Hills record back in the day. The whole group "Oregon" was really inspiring to hear. I live in Eugene Oregon home of the University of Oregon where Ralph is an alumni. He also came back to Eugene Oregon for a solo performance and a master class and that was how I got started changing my own style to finger style jazz guitar.
