The date is now marked on my calendar...I'm hoping it will be televised. The Blues are such an important part of our culture, often over-looked by the "blinders-on" TV execs. The '60s were all about music -- I remember that whenever a large group got together it was inevitable that someone would bring out a guitar and start playing/singing. That seems to have been lost from our culture...and I didn't realize it until reading your post. Love reading your stuff -- will probably come back and re-read and re-listen.

Omg! you are an ace and the best at introducing blues artists..this blog has to be the most throughout expressive of all ( and that not in any way forgetting all your articles)...so much work and ..so well written...i,m not in the circuit much since i,m a bit older ,but i will introduce your blog to friends and the world if i find the right way...to discover Johnny Johnson.Lurrie bell.
